Thin-Film Optical Coating Material Capabilities
The Optical Vacuum Coating Lab specializes in designing and fabricating precision thin-film coatings on optical components for LLNL and outside customers. In addition, this lab provides metrology support.
Coating Diamond Anvil Cells. Our lab is consistently producing efficient hard oxide antireflection (AR) coatings that pass MIL specifications for adhesion, in response to a need for durable coatings on diamonds by researchers at various laser facilities around the world.
